We left our obstinate, stubborn, sweet baby with Christina for the 3 week board/train program. What we got back was a sweet and obedient dog. I highly recommend this program to anyone needing dog training. (Lots of ongoing support as well!)
Christina and team took such good care of our 2 yr old goldendoodle, Betty. We’d been having trouble with her leash reactivity since we got her, and visited other dog trainers along with group classes. I was never able to walk her on a leash without anxiety over what kind of scene she would create.
Christina showed us methods that no other trainer had discussed with us, and after her 3 week board and train, I noticed such a difference in my anxiety and Betty’s. She has been so peaceful since she returned and I even noticed her relaxing so much more in her sleep, as well as less alert barking at home. Christina got us to a place where we can manage Betty’s reactions (if any) and included a great leash and collar that we can use in the future.
Completely recommend the Maligators team!! They really have changed my life! I am truly able to enjoy my dog and she now has the peace of mind to just be a dog instead of feeling like she has to monitor every sound, dog, squirrel, etc. SO excited to enjoy my girl even more!
Scared 4yo rescue went 2 Board & Train afraid of everything (ppl, being outside, going on walks, cars, butterflies, etc). This was our last resort to give him the life he deserved after trying a dog behaviorist, prescription anxiety meds, in home 1:1 dog training (not Maligators), smothering him w love, buying holistic dog anxiety scented plug ins (yeah, those don’t work!), etc…. 1.5 years later he was still afraid to even go outside in our backyard nevertheless on a walk. After 4 wks w Joey & Christina at their amazing facility he is a confident, happy pup & off ALL prescription anxiety meds! We received frequent pics and vids of his progress while he was boarding/training and we could tell they truly cared about our little guy. He has been home w us for 3 weeks now and not a day goes by where where we aren’t AMAZED by his transformation. Just today it was US having to call HIM inside as he was having so much fun just being a dog & playing ball & tug-of-war. ❤️ Joey and Christina changed our pup’s quality of life (and ours!). You cannot go wrong by trusting them with your dog!
Christina and Joe are absolutely the best! We moved from a house to a condo and needed to get our 7 year-old miniature schnauzer Haddi Mae training in order to walk on a leash and minimize barking around others. Maligators more than exceeded our expectations. After struggling with our almost 2 year corgi, Darby, for several months we decided to call in the big dogs. Christina & Joe are awesome. From the very beginning, they were happy to answer our many, many questions & calm our nerves. They helped us decided what package might be best for our situation since they have several options. We loved that they were extremely flexible with the dates as well. Communication was fantastic, quick responses to texts & emails, along with great photo and video updates while he was gone. We noticed an IMMEDIATE difference once he came home. Absolutely worth the money because you get an incredible amount of knowledge & support even after the program. I highly recommend them!
Christina was very professional. She confirmed all of our sessions and sent a text even when she was running 10 minutes behind. She answered all of our questions and tailored our dog’s training to what we wanted. The training gives you the tools and confidence to work with your pup.
Christina is amazing! Our dachshund puppy, Stewart, was stubborn and hard to control before we sent him to her. Now he is more calm and behaved. She is a miracle worker!!!
Would recommend! My husky puppy had issues socializing around people / dogs (friendly – but just over-excited) and separation anxiety. After a night out resulted in a trip to a 24 hour emergency vet, we knew we needed help. We have done both private lessons and the board and train. Things have gotten SO MUCH better. Clover will stay in her den without freakouts. I feel like I can walk her without her jumping in front of a car to chase a squirrel. I am also not as worried she will knock someone over by jumping. Her manners around other dogs (and cats) are great! Both small and large dogs are no problem. Christina had a lot of suggestions and helped us to more clearly communicate with Clover. I feel both my boyfriend and I are armed with the tools and knowledge needed to keep reinforcing all the wonderful training she has received. Christina and Joe did a wonderful job! During the board & train, we got constant updates and had no doubt Clover was in great hands!
My dog was trained by Christina thru the Board and Train program, while I was on vacation. During the entire time, she kept me informed of his progress and sent pictures/videos. I felt very comfortable leaving him with her and was very pleased with his training. I would highly recommend her.
